Stamping in Scrapbooking #7 - Taco Amigo

Thanks for stopping by for the seventh installment of my Stamping in Scrapbooking series. Today I want to encourage you to let a stamp set (maybe one that's been sitting around in your stash being cute, but never being used) guide your story.

This layout is all about a restaurant that has a particular significance in our family.

I used the "Dated" stamp set from Close to My Heart to fuel the story. It has all of the days and months and I thought it was perfect for a layout about a place that has had such an impact in our daily lives.

I stamped the month circles in rainbow order down the left of the layout and added the days of the week in matching colors. I love the way the inks look when you overlap them slightly!

I found the best-sticker-of-all-time-in-the-history-of-forever to replace one of the circles. "All Our Yesterday's" perfectly describes our relationship with this place. And it happened to be slightly wonky and the exact same size as the stamps. I just love when stuff like that happens.

I kept all embellishment to a minimum so I could really let the story and the stamping stand out.

If you want to see this layout come together, be sure to watch the process video here or over on my YouTube channel.

I've linked to all available products below. The stamps that I used are from Close to My Heart and must be purchased through a consultant, so be sure to head over to their website if you're interested in that awesome stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!
