Altenew January 2020 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey friends! It's time for another Altenew release and this one is packed with awesome stuff. I created a few projects to share with you using a couple of my faves from this January release.

First up is the Bold Floral Drape Stamp Set. This set is awesome because it's both a background stamp and individual flower stamps. I started by stamping the background in Misty Morning Ink (quickly becoming a new fave) and then stamped coordinating individual flowers in a few purple shades from the Sugarplums family of inks and die cut them out.

For both of my projects today, I used the new Hello & Hugs Stamp Set. It's a great staple for all you card makers!

This next card features the new Parlor Palms Die Set. It's such a fun one and I think it can be used for all sorts of occasions.

After I die cut my leaves, I felt like they needed something to pop against, so I did a little ink blending and placed it behind a die cut circle.

I added a quick sentiment, so hand-drawn faux stitching, and a few little hearts to complete the card. So easy!

So, are you ready to find out how you can win some awesome prizes from Altenew?

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 1/30/2020 for a chance to win.

Altenew: A Year In Review Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey friends! Today I get to share something fun with you - my favorite Altenew projects from 2019! There were so many to choose from and I had a hard time narrowing it down. As I was deciding, I realized that some of them are my faves because of the photos. So here they are, in no particular order!

Sweet Boy

This layout uses the Build-A-Flower Hellebore stamp set, which is absolutely gorgeous. This photo of my daughter and nephew is so sweet.

Eighth Grade Cutie

Love flowers. So much. This layout features some awesome open line stamps from the Flower Garden Stamp Set that I colored in with the 36-Pan Watercolor Set. Love it.

Still Close

This is a layout I created before I was on the design team, but I love it just the same. I created the background with some Altenew Embossing Paste and the flowers came from the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape. The tape is black and white, so it's great to layer on patterned paper. I used the Alluring Blooms 6x6 Paper Pack and it looks awesome!

The Woods

This one is a fave because of the photos and I used the Poppy Garden Stamp Set + 36-Pan Watercolor Set for the florals. I also love the softness of the vellum butterflies from the Mix & Match Mariposa Die Set.

Sending Love Card

Although I'm on the Scrapbook Design Team, I enjoy making cards too. I totally loved creating this one using the Color Wheel Die with the new Metallic Watercolors that Altenew released this year. Anything rainbow is good with me!

Hello Layout + Cards

This one is kind of cheating, because it's multiple projects, but I can't help it. I am obsessed with this color scheme and had fun creating a die cut inlay on the background of my layout with the Wavy Outline Dies. I used the leftovers to create two cards and I love them too!

There are lots more projects I could share, but I won't overwhelm you because now it's time to hop along to the other creators taking part in this blog hop. So much inspiration to be seen!

Before you head out, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 01/03/2020 for a chance to win. Random winners will also be chosen to win a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each stop on the hop. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 01/06/2020.

Altenew November 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey friends! Guess what? Altenew has another fabulous release and I have a few projects to share with you using a bunch of gorgeous new products!

First up is this layout of my cute girl all dressed up for her role in "Into the Woods". The new Poppy Garden Stamp Set was perfect and I painted the flowers to match her hair accessories.

I included some butterflies from the new Mariposa Mix & Match Die Set. I cut them in white and vellum so they didn't take away from the flowers, but still added to the whimsy.

I can't seem to stop using the Bold Alpha Die Set for my titles, and I'm not mad at it! I cut it from some wood paper I had in my stash. Fun, right?

Next, I created a layout focusing on the new Stone Mosaic Stamp Set.

By using soft colors, it looks less like stone and more like confetti, which worked out perfectly for this baby story.

I created my title with the Bold Alpha - again - but I also included the brand new Handwritten Hello Die. I just love how delicate it is!

I also threw in the moon stamp and phrase from the new Mini Moon stamp set. I think it works perfectly for a baby layout! I recorded my process for this layout and you can watch it below.

Last, but not least, I created a card using the Stone Mosaic stamp set. This time I made it look more like stone.

I used a portion of one of the sentiment stamps + those handy Bold Alpha Dies to create a custom tile and I think it's such a great masculine card.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 11/13/2019 for a chance to win.

We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $20 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 11/16/2019.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you again soon!

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Lavender Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

The Build-A-Flower Stamp Sets from Altenew are some of my favorites and Lavender is a gorgeous one! It's perfect for card making and I created two to share with you today.

On the first card, I wanted to use the flowers in a traditional purple color scheme. I used the Shades of Purple Mini Cube Set along with some minty greens for the stems.

I wanted the create a background for them to pop off of, so I used the linear stencil with Arctic Ink and concentrated on the lower half of the card. I heat embossed the greeting and added a few clear dew drop gems from my stash.

On the second card, I thought it would be fun to stamp a bunch of grayscale flowers on my background and then have one in color for a pop!

I used some darker greens for the stem on this one and stamped my sentiment on a strip of white cardstock, popping the colorful lavender on top. I put it all on a light purple card base and I love the look!

So, as with all of their releases, Altenew has a very generous giveaway and a blog hop full of inspiration!
