Stamping in Scrapbooking #6 - The Sweet Life

The technique for this week's Stamping in Scrapbooking layout is a fun one - watercolor stamping! You can use a variety of products to achieve this look, but I used Tombow brush pens and I think it looks fabulous!

I used a photo from our vacation to the Oregon Coast and it's all about this delicious gelato...I wanted the layout to reflect the sweet treat, so I used pink and orange for my stamping.

I used a few stamp sets to achieve this look. I colored the stamps with the markers, misted them with some water, and stamped them onto the layout. I used watercolor paper, but I don't think it's absolutely necessary.

I layered up some chipboard, gold puffy stickers, and enamel dots below the photo creating a line of embellishment.

That word "sweet" is from the Maggie Holmes Confetti Thickers. It was originally black, but I painted it to better suit my layout.

I added a bit of mist in blue and gold to finish it off. If you are interested in documenting all kinds of vacation photos and stories, check out my Photo Triage: Vacation Photos class!

To see how the layout came together, watch the video here or over on my YouTube channel.

As always, I've linked to all available products below. Thanks so much for spending some time with me!
