Stamping in Scrapbooking #8 - Feeling Free

After a little holiday break, I'm back with a new Stamping in Scrapbooking layout!

I didn't use any patterned paper on this layout, but instead created my own with a stamped phrase. I love how easy that is and how awesome it looks!

I also stamped the inside part of a globe from an old Scraptastic Club stamp set (exclusive, and now gone!) and made a little pattern that I trimmed and placed above my photos.

I find that when you are doing a lot of stamping, it's good to mix all of those fantastic text-based stamps with some icons.

You can see that I used another icon here - the shape of Oregon. Close to My Heart has these awesome stamp sets for all of the states, Canadian provinces, New Zealand, and Australia. Pretty cool. I also stamped my title.

If you want your stamping to look more like something you bought, use color. Or use two colors, like I did on the title.

There are a few stamps in my arsenal that I come back to over and over and over. My roller date stamps, the Ali Edwards Super Fantastic stamp set, and that label stamp.

Don't be afraid to use your favorite, most versatile stamp sets again and again.

If you want to watch this layout come together, you can watch the process video here, or over on my YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and let me know if you have any questions!
