Felicity Jane: Cousin Love

The September "Feels Like Home" kit has lots to do with family and friends (which I love), so I wanted to document a relationship. This time, it's my daughter and my nephew. I've scrapbooked about them before and I think that's totally okay. I'm telling a slightly different aspect of their story this time.

I always love the cut-apart sheet included in the kits but I am not much of a pocket scrapbooker. I thought it would be fun to create a grid with the cards and photos.

I used a bunch of the stamps and I really love the way you can customize these little cards with a bit of simple stamping.

The Crate Paper Wonder puffy stickers went perfectly with the theme of the layout and I used a whole bunch of them. :)

I put my journaling on the card that is split in half diagonally. I knew I didn't want to lose that design element, so I cut my journaling into strips and I like how you can still see that diagonal line. I also wrapped the strips around the card so it looks kind of like a ribbon or banner.

I finished off the layout with some black India Ink splatters (which are still wet in the photos!). If you want to see how this layout came together, be sure to watch the video on my YouTube channel or right here:

  1. Having love for your cousins is the one thing that I am really concern about because I am thinking about the same for my cousins. I am really interested to know more about this love.
