Photo Triage: Vacation Photos Class is Live!

I am so thrilled and excited to announce that my class is now available for purchase!! I have worked so hard on this and it is wonderful to be able to finally share it with you. If you haven't read about it already, allow me to tell you what this class is all about...

There's something magical about being on vacation and discovering new places, isn't there? They are some of my favorite memories and I want to capture them all. If you're like me, you'll come home with hundreds or even thousands of photos and it can be a bit overwhelming.
I want to show you my process for sorting through my photos to make sure the most important stories get told. Upon purchasing this class, you will receive immediate access to:
  • A welcome PDF with a link and video passcode to access the private course classroom
  • 4 lessons complete with downloadable instructional videos
  • Ideas on ways to document your photos including 4 exclusive process videos and an album flip through.
  • A PDF with the course content + full color photos and sketches of each layout
  • A printable to help you organize your stories
  • A set of 11 exclusive cut-files in both .svg and .png formats
  • Access to a private Facebook group where we can discuss ideas and share projects
  • Email access to me
  • Access to the course for as long as craftyjenschow.com is around (a very long time!)
I hope you'll join me on this journey to discovering and documenting your most important vacation photos! You can watch the promo video here.

I have had a few people tell me that they haven't taken a vacation in a while, so they don't think this class if for them. I want to tell you that while I do use vacation photos, the techniques taught in this class can be applied to any event where you have lots of photos!

For a very limited time (until Tuesday, August 25th, 2015 to be exact) I've discounted the class to $15! If you are interested, be sure to jump on this deal before it goes up to the regular price of $20. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

You can purchase the class by clicking here or going to the "Classes" link at the top of my blog.

  6. Oh yay, I have been waiting for Friday LOL ... to register Yipee, skipee :) :) And, I am still on vacation for a week. What could be better! I am still scrapping my "trip of a lifetime". Just before turning 50, I took a one year sabbatical and hiked around Europe for the entire year. So many experiences. I took thousands of photos, am still scrapping them 9 years later and will likely be doing so for a while yet. thanks for this class

  11. Good luck with the classes Jen, I'm sure you'll do amazingly well! :) we always take millions of photos when we visit Disneyworld, having said that if I were lucky enough to win the spot on your class i'd use it to help me scrap some photos I have from our holiday to India in 2013 - I took sooooo many photos that it's so daunting to even begin editing them all!!! :) xxx

  12. Looking forward to the class Jen. I love your style and am intrigued to hear your ideas on managing all the holiday photos that we take! We were in Florida in May, which meant 2.5 weeks in Disney and Universal with an average of 100 photos per day from cameras and phones.... please help me organise them!

  13. Pretty much every vacation I take way too many photos. I have 3 (!) scrapbooks from just our trip to Prague, Budapest, and Munich from a couple of years ago, and that was just a small portion of the 3000 or so pictures I took. We're going to Tahiti in a couple of weeks, and I need to know how to triage all the pictures when I get back!!

  17. Congratulations on the class Jen. We go to India every year to visit family and every summer we take a vacation here. This year it was Canada, last year it was Universal, Florida. I have to yet print those pictures. Thank you for a chance to win.

  18. I always take a million photos on vacation, even if it's just for a week. Florida, Seattle, Vancouver Island, and southern California are a few of the places I've been in the last couple years, with photos waiting to be scrapped. I've already waded through and finished scrapping albums from trips to New Zealand, Nova Scotia, Disney World, Barbados and New Brunswick; while it's nice to re-live the vacation while scrapping the photos, I just wish it didn't take me years to do so. I'm ready for a new approach.

  19. Last year I was lucky enough to visit 3 new cities and I haven't had time to scrapbook any of my photos (I know), I have 600+ photos from NYC, 200+ photos from Savannah and 800+ photos from DC, needless to say, I could really use this class!

  25. Hi Jen! I can't wait to start your class! I have a huge, and I mean HUGE amount of photos to scrap from my two week trip last summer to South Korea. I have put off starting it because I am currently working on a previous travel album from a trip to Italy, in which everything has a vintage, distressed feel. I want this album to have a more sleek and modern feel to reflect the more modern country, so I will be using your process videos for inspiration. Looks like this will be the perfect time for me to start. Thanks for the motivation! ;)

I don't have a million photos of one event yet, however I am looking to go on vacation this summer (winter is just coming to an end in my country) and am determined to take heaps of photos and document the summer, as I have a few trips and events planned.

I ended up with about 1800 photos i took and another 1500 from my parents and my step-grandmother. I still have all those photos and have never scrapped any of them. way to overwhelming!
