Collection Disconnection #4 - Cook Boys

Hello! I have the fourth installment of my Collection Disconnection series to share with you today. Up until now, I've used photos with children in them, but today I wanted to show you how you can use grown up photos with the childhood Wonder collection from Crate Paper.


I used a photo of my dad & brother and uncle & cousin. I kept it simple with a vertical, symmetrical design and I'm really pleased with the outcome.


That deer head was perfect for this layout (watch the video to see why!) and the corrugated alphabet was a nice touch too.


Stars are quite a universal icon and I think that even the puffy stars work here without feeling too juvenile.


Huge paint splatters were a final touch, and even though they got a little out of control, I think they were just what this layout needed.
