Thanksgiving placecards...

I can't believe that it's almost Thanksgiving again! Just wanted to share a quick idea for cute place cards. These are super easy and a good eating-around-the-table-conversation-starter too!

I simply took two ID card tag holder thingy's (I don't know the correct name for these, but you can get 24 or something at Wal-mart for about $4), some paper, ribbon, and a few embellishments and viola!

Here is the front. You can see that I have tied two ID tags with ribbon and this helps it to stay propped up.

Here is the back. Wanted to keep it simple. :)

On the inside, I wanted to make it somehow useful and maybe something that people would take home and keep to remember this year's Thanksgiving. You can see that there is lots of space to write what you are thankful for.

Supplies used:

Patterned Paper (yellow, brown), Cardstock, Ribbon, Thickers, Pen - American Crafts

Lined Paper - Scenic Route (sadly they don't make this anymore)
Leaf - Prima - stapled it on.
Flower - Sassafras

Ink - Colorbox by Clearsnap, Tsukineko

Brown Staple - Making Memories

Label Stickers - 7gypsies (I don't think they make these anymore either...)

The hardest part about this project is making your family fill out the card!

Enjoy!
