Ali Edwards March Projects

Hello there! Today I want to share my Ali Edwards March projects with you. This month I created two layouts - one 12 x 12 and one 8.5 x 11. I've been loving switching up the size - it helps keep things fresh.

The stories I told this month are two of my favorites. This first one is a "Then & Now" comparison between my daughter and I wearing the same sweatshirt.

I don't often do stories like these, but I want to. I used the Ali Edwards | Old & New Digital Stamps printed on cardstock for the background of my layout and also added them directly to the photos in photoshop before I printed them. The "Life" part of the title comes from the Ali Edwards | This & That Digital Journal Cards, and the rest is handwritten by me on vellum with a Pentel Color Brush in Black.

In the video below, I mention another layout that uses AE digital brushes as a background, and here it is. It uses the Ali Edwards | For The Love Of Words Digital Stamps. I used the same phrase in a variety of colors and printed it out on my old Epson wide format printer.

The next layout tells the story of some amazing trees I saw, but more than that, it shows a piece of who I am. I am an emotional person. And by that, I mean that I am moved to tears by things that are amazing to me.

I used a mixture of Thickers, tiny Basic Grey alphabet stickers, and the Ali Edwards | Thicker Travel Digital Brushes for my title. I love creating a longer, large title sometimes. In this case, it's an extension of the journaling and I think it makes you want to know more.

I also added in some Pink Paislee tiny word stickers and some of the products from my February Craft Story Kit™. I created a bit of texture on the background with some gelatos and a stencil + modeling paste.
