Wednesday: Words + Photo

Last night I taught a class to some ladies at my mom's church about what to do with your photos and why I'm so passionate about pairing stories with your photos. In an effort to share a bit more with you all, I thought it would be fun to do a little blog series on Wednesday's (maybe not every Wednesday, but sometimes) where it's just a photo and a story.

This is not the most amazing iPhone photo ever, but it's special to me.

Malia is obsessed with science. All aspects of it. The other day at school her teacher asked her if her parents were scientists because her love for science is so evident. We aren't, but I always wanted to be a Geologist, so there's that.

She decided to make a science journal where she could log experiments. This is the first one in her journal and I absolutely love the detail of her entry. And she's so excited about it. She keeps asking Philip and I if we want to see her experiment and reading us all of her notes.

Her enthusiasm is awesome. I always tell her she can be anything if she puts her mind to it. Maybe we'll have a scientist...
