Old Meets New: And We're Off...

Last week, I shared 10 tips for creating your own scrapbooking kit. Today, I'm here to share my first layout with you!

Now, I have to admit that I added two old Basic Grey die-cuts that were not in the kit because they matched well and they had a travel theme. I think it's okay to add things in here and there if you have something specific in mind.

I created this layout for my Disney album. To keep everything cohesive, without putting myself in a box, I've decided to do a white cardstock base with a colored cardstock border on each layout in that album. I did add this aqua cardstock from my stash. Again, I'm okay with adding things here or there. There's no reason to feel boxed in by using a kit. For me, the point is to get my stash used up.

If you want to see how this layout came together, you can watch the process here:

Because this kit uses both old and new products from my stash, not everything is still available. I've linked to anything I can below. Let me know if you have any questions and thanks so much for stopping by!
