She stole my heart...

Hola Friends! How goes it?  Things have been pretty crazy around our place!  Can't believe summer is almost over! Malia goes back to school in just a few weeks.  It's freaking me out.  We have had a busy summer, with such wonderfully productive activities such as...

 Painting our house:
(You can't really tell from the blurry 'before' picture, but our house was peach.  It was awful. Still trying to decide on the door color...thinking we need to go darker)

Growing our very own, delicious strawberries:

I finally finished my awesome coffee table:
(I love the way it turned out and it only took 9 hours of backbreaking labor!)

We have also been enduring many days of unbearable (in my opinion) heat!

In all that busy-ness, I somehow still find time to scrapbook at home occasionally, and this is a page I whipped up a few nights ago.

Supplies: Patterned Paper- American Crafts, My Mind's Eye; Stickers - Lily Bee Designs; Date Stamp - American Crafts; Die Cut Banner - American Crafts; Tag - American Crafts; Decorative Tape - American Crafts, My Mind's Eye; Ink - Tsukineko; Thread - Close To My Heart; Re-inker - Close To My Heart; Paint - Plaid Enterprises; Silhouette Machine

I just became the proud owner of a Silhouette Cameo and I L-O-V-E love it! It is so fun and I have really been enjoying figuring out all the cool things it can do!  On this page I used it to cut out these cute little radiating heart sunshine thingies.  (They are actually cut from a dingbat font I found free online called Devil Inside.) I love the way it looks!  Seriously. So much fun.

On an unrelated matter, I have been MIA in the old blogging world as of late, but I am going to try to get back in the habit, because I really do love it and I love sharing projects with you three dear readers.  Ha ha!

Have the best day evah!
