The Crafty Maven Getaway: Magic

Last year Two Peas in a Bucket, a scrapbooking retailer and online gathering place for crafty people, shut down. They had awesome forums and free video inspiration. It was a sad day. Since then, most of us have found new homes online in the form of Facebook groups. Hannah Lemieux wanted to bring that video inspiration back and formed a YouTube channel called The Crafty Maven Getaway. Each day of the week different YouTubers post videos on a variety of topics.

• Spotlight Sunday - These videos feature the frequent posters so you can get to know them a little better
• Mix It Up Monday - This day is about mixing things up, so there will be projects like cards, embellishments, mini books but also 12 X 12 too. These projects often feature special techniques or tools.
• In Your Pocket Tuesday - This day focuses on Pocket style pages. This could be Project life, pocket letters, or any spread using pockets.
• Free Flow Wednesday - This day is all about traditional layouts and really focuses on the style of the poster. 
• Twerk It Thursday - This day focuses on using a sketch
• Art Party Friday - This day focuses on Mixed Media and Art journaling.
• Scrap lift Saturday - This day focuses on scrap lifting a layout picked by the YouTuber.

Each week has inspiration photos and everyone uses them to inspire their projects. These are the inspiration photos this week:

I really focused on the blues and greens from the first photo and the quote and hand lettering from the second photo. This is what I came up with:
